In our experience, most IP clients do not value paying for expensive overhead items, such as:
- prestigious high-rent downtown addresses in New York or DC;
- opulent atriums, polished marble flooring, and fine wood paneling;
- hordes of under-utilized salaried staff.
In contrast to many IP firms, to keep our fees down, we tend to:
- work from home or the client's premises;
- purchase meeting space only when needed; and
- contract for assistance on an as-needed basis.
